I noticed something:
I have a DS-7608NXI (v5.04 soft) and DS-2DE5425IW dome. The event configuration flow looks buggy. When i configure perimeter protection rules on camera side, those roles are not exported to the NVR. When I configure rules on the NVR i cant set them properly either, as the PTZ controls are not accessible and PTZ parameters are not even saved within a rule.
What I ended up to do is I create a rule on a NVR, in another browser tab i have my PTZ controls, i select required preset and then back on the NVR tab I draw my area of detection and click "Save".
Still not done, as PTZ parameters ar not saved.
Only now, as the NVR sent my Rules to the camera, on the camera GUI I edit them by selecting a proper ptz preset for them.
I have a strong feeling t's not the way it's supposed to be done
. Am i missing something, or is it yet another bug?
