NVR setup vs POE camera setup

Hi all,

Second question of the day is where do you/should you set up all the settings for the NVR and cameras given the portals are now so similar.
By settings I mean things like notifications, events, dyndns type settings etc etc

From what I can tell, I can log into the cameras individually and set it up and/or NVR too - Is there a standard?

I'd do it all from the NVR.

Thanks - that is what I ended up doing yesterday and it seems to be running perfectly.
It didn't make sense port forwarding 8 cameras, setting up motion per camera, having users setup per camera etc etc
