Hello How do I enable Auto Tracking on my DS-2CD400MWG-E camera.

This model supports Auto-tracking Lite, which can be enabled as a linkage action after motion detection has been triggered (see below).

So the camera won't support general auto-tracking of any movement through the scene, but it can support it as a reaction to a motion detection trigger.

How do I enable this because I don't have this option to on my NVR (although it is a old version)

Can you please confirm the NVR model you have?

Is the DS-2DE2C400MWG-E camera plugged directly into the NVR PoE ports?

DS-7604NI-Q1 It's not a POE NVR I saw somewhere online that the auto tracking feature has nothing to do with the NVR.

I also have a k1 NVR will it work on that.

With the Q1 NVR, you might be able to find the auto-tracking option in the Linkage Action menu under the Motion Detection settings.

But this newer Auto-tracking Lite feature might not be supported by the Q1 NVR, so you might have to log into the camera directly with a web browser and enable this feature under the camera's motion detection settings.

Okay, also if I set up a motion detection trigger and it starts auto Tracking isn't that the same thing what I mean to say is what is the difference between auto tracking and Auto Tracking lite isn't it basically the same thing?

I don't get an option to enable Auto Tracking lite via motion detection
