Remote Recording HikVision without NVR

Hello,

my client does not want to install NVR on his 11 sites. he only needs one IPcam. i need to install one NVR and record all 11 sites in remote Head Office through dyndns. i have tried to add domain name of the ip cam and forward the ports.

i can see the camera connected but i cannot view the image. what could be the problem?

It could be a port forwarding setup problem.
It could be a problem with the PC you are using to view the camera e.g. web components not installed, or not using a compatible browser (start with Internet Explorer - not Edge).

My supplier says it will not work on NVR and this is why i am not getting any image. i will have to use IVMS 4200 on a pc. is that correct?
