hello, my firmware is all up to date

this error 'this channel does not exist' keeps popping up randomly, my cameras keep rotating randomly aswell

LG tv by any chance? I think some TV remotes can cause this.

Its a SHARP Aquos

Try all your IR remotes and see. My logitech volume remote controls my NVR. You could always just cover the IR receiver just to be sure.

This is a Hikvision DVR

Model: iDs-7204HQHI-K1/2S(B)

Firmware: V4.24.001

Continuous random popup error that says 'This channel does not exist'

Any ideas?

How is it a remote?

Your DVR can be controlled via Infrared remote. However they seem to pick up signals from other remotes, a bit of black tape over the front where the LEDs are and it will stop happening, I promise.
