Trying to enable ONVIF on Hikvision Cameras and running into issue changing password for user login

Hi all.
I have given up on my Hikvision NVR and am going to a ubiquiti setup.
Out of my 11 cameras, I have made 9 of them work (by following the same, simple process), but I have 2 cameras which are giving me this issue when I am configuring the cameras.
In IVMS, I open the settings for the camera, go to advanced network settings and then Internet Protocol. I click the tick box for Open Network Video Interface and then I click create user.
As you can see here, it accepts the username and password I enter.

When I go to attempt to add the camera to the unifi console, it detects the camera, but the password I entered doesn't work. So then when you go back into IVMS and go to check the password, it is reset to this 6 digit password that I do not know.

I have tried and tried several attempts to no avail. When I check the saved password on other cameras (the 9 which worked), it does show enough password digits to be my actual password.

I have tried:
  • Updating the cameras to the latest firmware via IVMS
  • Completely reseting the cameras
  • Accessing the camera through both the IP adress web configuration tool, and also Hikvision Batch Configuration Tool
  • Restarting the unifi console
Does anyone have a solution to this issue? I wonder if anyone would know the password that IVMS keeps reverting it to. Is there any other way to add cameras via onvif or some other technique that doesn't require this user junk. Maybe theres some other setting on these 2 cameras which is causing the passwords not to work???
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Its not reseting to 6 digit password, this is known as default password filler. So it shows that its set and not empty.

Try to drop down RTSP to digest/basic, as well WEB authorization

I appreciate the reply but I'm pretty sure in this specific circumstance its not default password filler. When I go to change the password on any of the other 9 cameras, it shows the total amount of characters of the password which I set. Do you know where abouts I can change the RTSP settings?

In old firmware UI it was under System-> Security tab

In new UI, its under Network tab

Update for anyone who cares:
I changed the RTSP settings and that didn't seem to fix it. I tried downloading Hikvisions software called Batch Configuration and inside of that configuration tool it actually allows me to change the password without issue, and then I was able to adopt into unifi. IVMS is a piece of poo, Batch Configuration for the win.
