What happened to this camera?

Hi everyone:

I'm sorry for posting this blunt question, but I don't know how else to explain it. Here's the recording from the surveillance camera that went from clear to whatever-its-doing now:

I know that no one messed with it at that time. All I could see was that it was starting to rain and that's it.

PS. At the end, you can (somewhat) see me coming out and trying to tap on it.
PS2. It's an older analog camera.


Anyway, any idea what is wrong with it?

That's an odd one, the video is very useful, thanks for sharing.
I've never seen that symptom before.

I'd try cycling the power.
If that doesn't resolve it, then if it is within warranty I'd speak to your supplier about a replacement.

Out of interest, what make and model is the camera?
Is it an IP camera or analogue?

Thanks. I'll have to open it in the morning. The problem is that it will be raining .... so will do my best.

And no, there's no warranty on it. It's an old analog camera. I'd say over 5 years old for sure.

When I open it up tomorrow, I'll write down the specs and post an update.

Interesting observation. The next morning that camera was working just like if nothing had happened. What could be the reason?
