TP-Link currently has three manufacturing bases: in China, Vietnam and Brazil (which is under construction).
At a basic level, where NDAA compliance has come to imply not 'Made in China' we were surprised when we got hands-on with this new range to find that the NDAA-badged VIGI NVRs and new InSight cameras are, in fact, manufactured in China.
VIGI equipment remains NDAA compliant, as confirmed in their statement, which can be found here, and it's possible that manufacturing may move to Vietnam and Brazil in the future.
If you need to check the country of origin, it will be printed on the white label on the device itself, as well as on the bottom of the box, as shown in the photos below:
