Firmware DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P - Firmware V4.31?

Hi all,

I was just tinkering with my rather aged DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B) and thought i spotted a much newer firmware and wondered if its worth the hassle to upgrade.
Current firmware: V4.30.096 build 221220

This seems to suggest V4.31.531_240424

Any thoughts on this firmware?

That's the wrong firmware for your model; you need the firmware specific to your model. The latest is 4.30.097 build 240401 available on the portal here:

My mistake, didnt notice it was for the C model only.

I just read this thread and I'm a bit confused. A few weeks ago I updated my DS-7604NI-K1/4P hardware version B-R-K9B2-00 to firmware version V4.75.206, Build 240119.

If firmware version 4.30.097_240401 is the correct version, I think I need to do some kind of downgrade.

Any suggestions?

The user above had a 'B' revision hardware model and was looking at firmware for a 'C' revision that wouldn't work. If you've successfully loaded 4.30.097_240401 you're fine. The upgrade would fail if you'd selected the wrong file.

Edit - I've just checked and yours must be a 'C' revision hardware model (the 'B' in 'B-R-K92B2-00' is not the hardware revision)

Ok so with 4.30.097_240401 I have the correct firmware version for my recorder. By the way the recorder is working fine.
