New Firmware for DS-7608NXI-K2/8P(2T)

Note i use this firmware for my nvr DS-7608NXI-K2/8P and its working fine , no release note

I followed your risk and installed v4.83.014 build 250114 for my 7608NXI-K2 (K20A9) and till now seems to be OK. 7608NXI-K2 is EOL(Discontinued) in Global pages, but is not EOL in Europe....????
I won't install this new v4.84.000, even though Release Notes are now available and include K20A9 boards, until I test one of my G5 ColorVUs with firmware v5.7.19.
One strange thing is that the Plugin Version for v4.83.014 build 250114 is "higher"than v4.84.00. Older firmware is 4.0.2411.1 and latest v4.84.000 is, as seen on your screenshot 4.0.2409.1

First I apologize my english not very good, my experiment is good no bugs and this firmware is stable.
But i have issue with playback timeline event in this firmware and the previous old one
I notes that the timeline show events not correct both in ( hiconnect & nvr )
For example there is about 8 seconds delay between introduction trigger and event log in timeline , pls check the photo
Do you have the same issue ?
Note the NVR time is correct and its ( platform time sync with Hik-connect )

Yes, this issue exists since day one, back to 2022. It's the Pre-Record problem, or to be more correct, the Event Start error.

This is, or at least was, an issue that also existed on -M series NVR. That's a serious bug, that for configured events they start just or delayed on the event, rather than seconds prior set on Pre Record option. SO the target is "lost". Pre-Record settings work only when Event Recording and not Continuous Recording.
Strangely if we search by VCA Rules or so called Smart search by drawing grid, lines or regions in the same video, event markers start 5 seconds before as it should.
That's also why I always use the Playback Smart Search on Normal or Event tabs by drawing rules.
The same problem exists on HikConnect, but only in Playback option. On video clips it's OK.
There were reports in this forum in the past, that even Hikvision Support connected online with clients NVR, they could not understand why this happened.
But they also do not fix.

Smart Search(by Rules) does not work again for G5 cameras on firmware v5.7.19 and NXI-K on firmware v4.83.014

Then, installed firmware v4.84.000 on NXI-K. This seems a perfect GUI 5.0 firmware. At the beggining I got impressed. Many new options and settings, Detection seems better, also had displayed rules on Normal Playback which never existed in the past!!
But Smart Search did not work there too for G5s on v5.7.19.
So went back to v5.7.15 for G5s being sure that this will work, but unfortunately Smart Search does not work any more even on that firmware.

Some strange things:
Acusearch was always disabled on my ColorVU G5s. By doing the first Playback Normal smart Search, a pop up informed that Smart Search?? was not enabled, so not understanding what this meant, I allowed to be automatically enabled. The strange thing is that this enabled the Acusearch of my G5 which has no relation with the Smart Search. So they have things confused once again. Acusearch and Smart Search. Of course no targets found again with smart search although there were many of them, normal(motion) and smart events.
The other strange thing is that Acusearch or Intelligent Search, is working OK even with firmware v5.7.15 on the G5 cameras although they say that someone needs v5.7.17 and above

A failure and disappointment once again.
Went back to v4.83.014 and v5.7.15 for G5s

I'm already testing this firmware (Firmware_V4.84.000_250306) on my DS-7632NXI-K2, which is theoretically EOL, and the latest official firmware is Firmware_V4.83.013. After two weeks, I don't see any problems with my NVR, everything works fine, including AcuSearch. I am using with my NVR G5 cameras DS-2CD2046G2 with firmware V5.7.18 build 240826.

Smart Search: Quickly filter and identify targets entering a designated area. Simply draw a rule box where the event occurred, and the system will highlight recordings involving human and vehicle activity in red. This function is perfect for scenarios where you need to monitor specific zones, such as parking lots, warehouses, shopping malls, and restaurants.

By disabling the Human and Vehicle check box, someone should find everything in that area. Animals, falling leaves, heavy rain and other moving or flying objects.

Web 5.0 UI, either on G5s or on NXI-Ks makes Playback Smart Search(by drawing boxes, lines and grid), useless for non Human-Vehicle.

On the other hand, "Pre-record" markers visible on playback timeline without Smart Search usage, are out of time. Pre-record setting is not working on continuous recording.

What works? The Search tab, but those video clips are not Smart Search related...

Happy you solved that.
Hikconnect 6.9.880 did not solve this issue for me. It's an NVR related issue and remains the same.
Possibly another change on your settings or network has helped with "pre-record" time.
What is now the firmware version on your NXI-K2? Mine is the v4.83.014. The newest ones are for ... K2/2T versions. Wish I knew what the 2T hdd is
