Yes, this issue exists since day one, back to 2022. It's the Pre-Record problem, or to be more correct, the Event Start error.
This is, or at least was, an issue that also existed on -M series NVR. That's a serious bug, that for configured events they start just or delayed on the event, rather than seconds prior set on Pre Record option. SO the target is "lost". Pre-Record settings work only when Event Recording and not Continuous Recording.
Strangely if we search by VCA Rules or so called Smart search by drawing grid, lines or regions in the same video, event markers start 5 seconds before as it should.
That's also why I always use the Playback Smart Search on Normal or Event tabs by drawing rules.
The same problem exists on HikConnect, but only in Playback option. On video clips it's OK.
There were reports in this forum in the past, that even Hikvision Support connected online with clients NVR, they could not understand why this happened.
But they also do not fix.
