So I updated my Samsung23U to the latest one UI 7 and also updated to the latest hik-connect version: 6.9.0.0428. I now find the phones 3 button navigation bar over rides or sits on top of the hik-connect bottom menu. I am unable to tap the notifications button on hik-connect it chooses to use...

Tried the power down and off and no improvement,still thinking its prob at hiks end as it was not an issue weeks ago. Umm well maybe if there is another hik connect server to try ? NVR is set on litedev.us.hik-connect.com with the custom box ticked.

OK good idea for in house or within earshot. I was thinking of something to transmit the alert via my wifi so if I was way down in the backyard the phone would alert me with no delay. Something continue to ponder . I will do the power off/down idea. Cheers

I am looking for a device that would take the alarm output contacts on the back of the nvr and connect to my local wifi which in turn send a alert on my android phone. The reason being I often find the delay with hikconnect can be slow and the courier at the door has been and gone. There is next...

Motion detection. Logging on via the web to the camera shows the same setting has transfered from setting on the nvr using hdmi monitor over to the camera. Tried all settings from 0 to 100 in steps of 20 in the nvr will nil effect. So my guess is the 2387 which is on port1 I have 5 old 2385s...

Movement sensitivity adjustment makes no change I have noticed. Set it to 0 in the nvr gui and it still triggers. Nvr Ds-7616ni-m2/16p v4.63.025 Cam ds-2cd2387g2 v5.7.14 Anyone else find this. Thanks

I now have found settings which produce smooth non jerky live viewing of fast moving cars. 3840x2160 Constant Medium 25fps General 8192 H265 I frame 50. Time will tell fingers crossed Hope it helps you

I notice the image settings in display menu now have a far greater effect. Before the saturation slider did very little on my 2cd2387g2.

On playback mine will start from today not yesterday as in the last firmware version did. I think will check tomorrow.
