Add Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1 to NVR

I currently have a Hikvision camera system using the DS-7604NI-K1-4P(B) NVR.

Is there anyway I can add a DS-KV6113-WPE1 Door Station to the NVR or am I better just to set this up into HikConnect instead?

For all the intercom features to work you will need to connect the DS-KV6113-WPE1 to a PoE Injector/Switch and then add it to Hik-Connect as a separate device, but if the intercom is on the same local network as the NVR you can use its IP address to add it to the NVR as remote device (as long as you have a channel available to use) and have it connected to both Hik-Connect and the NVR.

As @Dan says - Hik-Connect is needed for the features/call notifications. However in the NVR you can:

• In the local menu > Cameras
• Click 'edit' on one of your spare channels
• In the pop up box change 'Plug and Play' to 'Manual', enter the IP address of your 6113 along with the admin password and save.

The door station will be then available for viewing and recording via the NVR.

Thankyou. Unfortunately all my channels are in use on the 4 port NVR but may be looking at updating the NVR in the future.
