ANPR Wiegand Output

Morning all I have a DS-2CD4A25FWD-IZS I have been looking to integrate it with my Paxton system to automate access to the car park I have found a document but it seems to reference DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS I assume this is the newer model ANPR camera is there anyway I can link my old one or will I have to purchase a new one

Hikvision's 4A25 & 4A26 cameras are essentially the same thing; one was (in its native state) a LightFighter, the other a DarkFighter - you could load ANPR firmware onto either to convert them to become a specilaist ANPR camera.

thanks getting a firmware upgrade file mismatch < the camera is already using ANPR firmware but can't find the option the guide mentions

Where did you find newer firmware?

V5.4.5 build 170302 obtained via Hik monthly


the newer firmware was found here ftp://ftp.hikvision.com/ANPR/ but it references the newer model

AFAIK V5.4.5 is the latest applicable to your model

Your link is to a newer model - they now factory-ship an ANPR-ready camera (designated -P)

Sorry to hijack... Trying to diagnose a (mostly) working Hikvison>Wiegand>Paxton Net2 with barrier setup. "Mostly" works perfectly but randomly some vehicles that are in the Net2 user list get refused/ignored. After debugging the camera itself it always recognises the number plate and passes the info up the chain but then no event appears in Net2. Anyone had similar? Thanks!
