Hik-Connect Connect App v4.18 notification feature

Got prompted to update android app and the release notes mention the following.

1. Now you can receive notifications of device abnormalities, such as hard disk failure, channel disconnection, etc.
The abnormal notifications come from the regular inspection of the Hik-ProConnect platform. The service is not turned on by default, if you need this service, please contact your installer or system integrator.
2 Now you can bind the service provider. After binding, the installers or system integrators can do remote problem diagnosis and operation and maintenance services for your devices in real time. Please try to click the share button.
3. These features are not be available for all regions.
4. Bug fixes.

Am I correct thinking this is nothing for joe bloggs end users, as it mentions Hik-ProConnect platform?
Notifications of device abnormalities is something I would consider useful for a lot of users.
Any thoughts ??

i use hikconnect for video intercom, it also lacks custom notifications, so hopefully it wil work now
