Hi,

I have a DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) NVR. I have tried connecting to it from its ip address in a web browser but its not working. The browser states ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. This is what i have tried:

Camera Live views are visible on the Hik-Connect app
I can access the menu, settings and Live View from the physically connected mouse/monitor
I have updated the firmware to V4.30.97build 240401
I have rebooted the NVR multiple times
Tried from Chrome and Edge
I am connected on the same subnet as the NVR

C:\Users\Sunny>arp -a

Interface: 192.168.0.26 --- 0x8 <-- my local address
Internet Address Physical Address Type
192.168.0.1 <snip> dynamic <-- Router
192.168.0.52 <snip> dynamic <-- NVR address

Please help!

Is it your own NVR, or you are trying to configure somebody else?

It could be that previous installer bound MAC white list for connecting to this device. Hence it will refuse connection from any other

Try using ivms4200 and connect via port 8000
 
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED often means:
  • the IP Address is reachable, BUT
  • the target IP Address is not listening on Port XXX.
In your case, I'd suggest your NVR is NOT listening on Port 80.

So now what ?

Login to your NVR via the NVR/HDMI interface, and verify what Ports are configured for HTTP & HTTPS:
  • HTTP --> normally Port 80
  • HTTPS --> normally Port 443
You might also try this on your Browser --> https://192.168.0.52:443 <-- and see if HTTPS gets you in on Port 443
