People what does it mean when reading a DVR spec sheet when it says:

Supported Analog CameraTypes

OR EVEN for a HIK DVR

HDTVI Input8 MP(3840 × 2160)@12/15 fps, 3K(2960 x 1665)@25/20 fps,3K(3328x1504)@20fps,5MP(2560 × 1944)@20 fps, 4 MP(2560 × 1440)@25/30 fps,1080P@25/30 fps,720P@25/30fps

The main thing to look for is obviosuly the recording rate or frame rate which is different but just wanted to find that other meaning out

Thanks

Hi @bm_99

The spec you've highlighted above is explaining that the DVR can support HDTVI cameras at these different resolutions, but the higher the resolution of the camera you use, the lower the frame rate has to be.

So if you connect 4MP HDTVI cameras to this DVR, you can have them recording at 25fps.

If you connect 8MP HDTVI cameras to this DVR, they can only be configured to record at 12fps.
