G3 ColorVu Cameras - First Impressions/Review

Let me explain my impressions once again.
-If you want a color image and you have low lighting, a better choice is a 4 mp camera.
-If you want a picture with the help of IR light, then an 8 mp camera is a better choice.
That applies when it's night.
That's my personal impression.
I wanted to clarify once again, because of the English language, because English is not my primary language.

Are you saying the 4MP displays better night colour images, vs 8MP night colour images?

Is the 8MP bad at producing colour images at night?

I have some old non-ColorVu cameras and i dislike the black and white image lol

During the day the 8MP will always win out.

Shame they went back to the 1/1.8 sensor.

The night image on the 8 mp camera is darker.
The 4 MP camera gives a brighter picture.
These are shades and the difference is not great.
Both cameras give a much better picture compared to the 3386 isu.
I am very impressed with the image quality of both the 4mp and 8mp cameras.

I have ordered a new iDS-2CD5347G2/V-XS camera and I am waiting for it to arrive.

If the same settings and the same operating conditions are compared-in operating mode -- color, when there is low light (night).
On a 4 mp camera, it is necessary to set the exposure to 50/75 and the gain to 50/40.
On an 8 mp camera, you need to set the exposure to 50/25 and the gain to 50/55.
This is very important for me because if the exposure is very low, it is not good for identification.
