Hikvision fails completely and has to be reset to factory

We have had a DS-2CD2646G2-IZS on the network for a couple of years. Every few months it will fail completely with zero output. The only way to get it functioning is to do a factory reset and enter all the settings again. When it failed last week, we did a reset and imported the last working configuration settings.
It imported the config file OK but when we came to connect to it by using its IP address completely we could not get an image in "Live View" or any image when it came to setting the detection areas.
Different browsers were then used eg chrome, Opera and Vivaldi. Then we tried Vivaldi and Maxthon browsers and only then did we get the view. Then we found we could only set one line crossing line and one intrusion area eve in Expert mode.
Video stream is set at 1920 x 1080, picture quality is "medium", with variable bit rate & frame rate = 25

Firmware Version is V5.7.19 build 241207

What do you suggest can be done about this situation?

Hi @Tomdhu ...

Your periodic failure may be a coincidence... check this thread...

Chromium - Live video feed not visible on Playback or Live View until made fullscreen

Most recent post is probably the most relevant/best info:

I've just applied same 1.0.0.113 to my other PC and that is now working correctly.

And here is the link to Hikvision discussing the issue with Chrome/Edge.
Chrome / Edge version V139 update causes a white screen in the web video window

Thanks, but I cant get the the fix downloaded from the Hikvision link you gave.

Ughhh... I see what you mean... none of the download buttons seem to be working... I tried them on the Global EN site and the USA EN site... nothing downloads? All of these download buttons are not working:

I didn't save any of these files I had downloaded... I wonder if anyone else did?

Check your virus scanner is not set to block data collection on the website. Had same issue, could get to above screen but it was only when I allowed data collection did the download links work.

What I find difficult to understand is that all the Hikvision cameras we have work perfectly on Edge and Chrome. It is only the DS-2CD2646G2-IZS that is playing up.
Hopefully there will be a firmware update soon that will fix it.

I managed to download loclaservicecomponents.zip OK using a VPN and unzipped it. What came out was 3 separate exe files as pet attached image. Sorry to be a pain but may I ask where I go from here? Do I execute them all?

If you have a previous version of LocalServiceComponents installed, uninstall it. Then install LocalServiceComponents.exe
I am not sure what the other 2 are. Saw them in the zip also but they never used to be included.

This is usually caused by blocked cookies dialogue and then not confirmed cookies dialogue. In my Firefox it causes, on some sites, addon "Cookies OK".
