We've recently learnt about the handy free ZeroBlur extension that works on the Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers.

This allows you to blur out any part of a web page whilst viewing it, so should be useful when you need to share a screenshot from your device's web browser menu, but want to hide a part of that page, e.g. serial or port numbers.

As the blur is applied before you take the screenshot, there is no need for image editing software.

You can download it here:

When downloaded, click on the extension icon, check that it's enabled, and click on "edit blur":

The toolbar will then appear on the right-hand side of your browser:

The first button will allow you to blur any HTML element on the page quickly just by clicking on it.
The one below that will allow you to draw a rectangular area to blur anywhere on the page.
The dustbin button will remove all blur that you've applied on the page.

Once you have blurred an area, you can hover over it and click on the dustbin to undo it, or click on the globe to keep that same area / HTML element blurred for every page on that website:

Once you've hidden everything, you just need to close the toolbar to hide all of the buttons on the page and then take your screenshot :)
