Firmware I cannot update to this new Firmware for 76 NI-K1(C) NVR Series?

There are 3 new firmware available for this NVR series:
V4.71.005
V4.72.100
V4.72.106

they can be found here:

But I am not able to update to any of those new one . . .

Any idea why?

okay, when you load the digicap.dav firmware file does it just say update failed or is there any other error message?

I tried all 3 new firmware available, same error . . .

Did the NVR come with v4.71.000 installed or did you update to that version?

Okay, I've just noticed when digging around the Hikvision website and portal that the Hikvision product page for the 7604NI-K1/4P(C) NVR actually shows a newer firmware version - v4.72.107

Have you tried this version? If not can you try updating to this version and let us know if you get the error message or not?

my NVR has no POE ports
my NVR model is: 7608NI-K1(C)

doesn't matter, the PoE and non-PoE K1(C) NVRs use the same firmware. Please try the v4.72.107 firmware.

Done the update yesterday and everything is good so far.
I did the update via Hik-Partner Pro but the Hik-Connect also showed that there is a new firmware and provided me the option to update from there as well.
