I have two NVR's at different clients, that when I try SADP to use the UNBIND option, it fails with error 99 (I am connected via ethernet to the NVR and it is able to see Hik Connect as online in Platform Access menu). I've read that I need firmware version 4.X on the NVR's to UNBIND with SADP as both are currently on version 3.4X. I see on this forum there is advice to upgrade to the latest firmware but with doing a few versions in steps, not one jump straight to version 4.6.
I'm looking for advice on how I should go about upgrading the firmware to the latest version or some steps in versions for each NVR.
NVR 1:
Model: DS-7616NI-K2
Firmware: V3.4.99 build 180324
On the Hik Portal I see version 3.4.112 build 20064 is the last version 3.X firmware and 4.30.005 build 2000627 EUI is the fist version 4 firmware (Hik Vision portal). I'm not sure why the first few version 4 firmwares have EUI at the end?
NVR 2:
Model: DS-7732NI-I4 / 16P (in built poe not being used by the NVR currently)
Firmware: 3.4.92 build 170228.
On the Hik Portal I only see version 4.1.64 build 190119 as the earliest version firmware still available (Hik vision portal)
