Hi MTV, I was advised to remove the doorbell from the app, instead the outdoor station (which the doorbell is linked to) needs to be the only device in the app. Please check when the doorbell is added to app, at notifications in the app. It needs to say, enable. Enter the setting and check if it is enabled and that it states receive and push event. Also check in the same screen if certain notifications are not blocked. I had this earlier and then nothing happened. The blocked event will pop up in the screen with receive and push.
I have the doorbell connected to nvr as well. So doorbell notifies with single photo and nvr with the corresponding video.
Also check on intelligent notifications and that you have set the area of which you would like to check.
When someone leaves the door or enters the door the notifications will pop up. If someone rang the doorbell, the same screen pops up, and when answer the call you will see live view within the app.
I think that only applies to motion notifications. My 6113 has Notification set to 'Disable' and Report Events is turned off and yet I still receive calls directly to Hik-Connect. To receive calls and call notifications including the snapshot, all you need to have is 'Call Notifications' set to on and 'Call Notification Settings' > Doorbell turned on in Me > SettingsPlease check when the doorbell is added to app, at notifications in the app. It needs to say, enable. But you do not have the 6113 added to the hik connect app right, instead you have the indoor station added as I've done? I'm a bit lost as to what i'm missing or doing wrong, having done as advised :/I think that only applies to motion notifications. I don’t have an indoor station at all anymore, I wasn’t using it so eBayed it. Ahh okay, bummer, should I re-add the doorbell and remove hte indoor station from the hik connect app (even though it's linked)I don’t have an indoor station at all anymore, I wasn’t using it so eBayed it. I just have the 6113 direct.
You can only try to see which gives you the best results. I've lost track of what the original issue was! I don't think you can get a preview image on the phone until you swipe the app open when the door station calls - at that point whether it immediately connects or gives you the option to connect/reject is dependant upon the Auto Answer option. It's been that long since I had an indoor station that I can't remember whether I got snapshots for the caller in Hik-Connect when the indoor station was on Hik-Connect.Ahh okay, bummer, should I re-add the doorbell and remove hte indoor station from the hik connect app (even though it's linked)
