Has anyone else noticed their NVR trying to interact with devlog.ys7.com the those time? What's this about? I've blocked these queries on my Pi-hole for now.
I tried downgrading to the previous V4 release but this was still happening. I've now upgraded to V4.30.055 build 201111 from the European site and this is fixed.
if you had did a whois of that domain name you would find that its connected to hikvison
maybe its your logging in to your nvr system or even more likely its your hik-coonect updating its info
but who really knows what it is

For sure, there was no doubt it's a Hikvision server, but the NVR is communicating literally every single second. It wasn't doing that on earlier firmwares and it's not doing it on the very latest, so I conclude that it wasn't correct.

It looks like V4.30.055 build 201111 solved the mass DNS query issue.
I'm noticing the same behavior. My NVR is contacting devlog.ys7.com every second or so, being the most active client on my DNS server, with more than 283.000 queries during the last 7 days.
3D zoom is working again for my PTZ cameras, stange as I think Dan said this DVR didn't support it. The webservice kept going down on .061 for me. Only time will tell if they have fixed that. I feel like a beta tester which isn't ideal, at least we are still getting updates. Oh and the web service works fine on Chome.
