New G5 camera firmware V5.7.19 build 241207 available on some product pages

This is an issue that exists since day one and all firmwares for G5s. A have seen this many many times. I saw that too 5 days ago with v5.7.15.
A Human not recognized as Human and a cat recognized as Human same position and distance, same time, same lighting.
The good thing with firmwares after v5.7.15 is that there is a better Detection and Observation. Not a better Recognition or Identification

Found this just now looking for @terran issue and release notes. They solved this in just 40 days. Same issue now not solved for more than 7 months:

For a G5 camera connected to an NVR that does not support AcuSearch (like DS-7616NI-M2/16P), should this setting be on or off (or it doesn't matter)?

Also, what does enabling "Sub-Stream" on this page do?

AciSearch is on by default but I’ve turned it off (don’t seem to matter) The notes say it disables the ‘smart event’ meta data but it doesn’t seem to.

I’m not sure of the use of the sub stream switch. Perhaps it’s needed with ‘overlay rule frame’ to display the rule frame when the NVR is showing a multi screen (sub stream) layout. I don’t think it’s available on 5.7.15 which I’ve reverted to in order to have VCA search/smart search available.

Sub-Stream is also available in V5.7.15.
I also disable Acusearch on cameras and Acusearch or Intelligent Search on NXI-K. The EOL one :-) :-) 30 months of release date!!!!!
I think, but this could be wrong, that there is less sensitivty for Smart Events if enabled

Do you have acusearch turned off? Smart events work?

I also have AcuSearch turned off because my M-series NVR does not support AcuSeach... I'm assuming with it off, the camera has less processing to do?

Smart events do still work with AcuSearch off.

Could be so...!! But this is not necessary if NVR is not Acusense NXI.
I made that work with firmware v5.7.18 and NXI-K. The option identifies Similarity(you can adjust) between targets Human or Vehicles, and gives all results. This is very useful for Stores, restaurants, car parkings etc, but I believe this is not useful for a home
