NVR placement in the house

Is it OK to locate a NVR in the loft. Was thinking of placing NVR on a shelf up in the loft out of the way. Just concerned of the safety, don't want to burn the house down! Also when we have our 3 days of summer will it be ok up there as they do get warm?

Yes, that should be fine.
Lots of people place their NVRs in lofts, cellars, understairs cupboards, etc.
Of course, issues could arise in extreme heat/cold, but most NVRs have quite wide tolerances - you can check on the product datasheet.
