probably a simple question about connectivity

I want to move my NVR from the loft to my study, so I can plug a HDMI directly into it and view my cameras quicker than having to use a browser which has always been quite slow, but just last week I haven't even been able to do that so need to do something about it anyway.
problem is I only have WiFi in the study, so I would either need to run an ethernet cable between the 2 places which is going to be hard work, or maybe use something like this if it's going to work...
I have a TP link Archer VR400 router in the middle of the house, if i were to get some of these https://www.currys.co.uk/products/t...Qpb6xeVXiQChOAPhktuJZwcMGIsQpau4aArsQEALw_wcB and place one in the study, (the rest dotted around the house to improve connectivity also) would I be able to just plug an ethernet cable between the Deco4 and the NVR and be able to connect like that?

Hi @Capital_Singer

From a quick look at the product you've linked above, it looks like those devices will only expand the reach of your WiFi and won't allow you to connect together 2 hard-wired devices over WiFi.

We would probably recommend the TP-Link Powerline Adaptors for what you are wanting to do.

Plug one adaptor in near your router and the other near your NVR in the study.

You can then connect each adaptor to the router or NVR, pair the adaptors up, and then you will have a network link to your router without running any additional cable.
