Recording audio files from third party on HIK DVR/NVR

Hi guys,

does anybody have some experience on how to record audio files ( lets say from telephone, incoming/outcoming calls ) to hik DVR/NVR?

Is it possible?

If the NVR has an audio input, then you should be able to do that.
Check the manual for your NVR for details on config etc.

Just got answer from HIK tehnical support. Only way to record sound from Third party device is to connect that same device to camera's audio input.

And important thing is to make sure that device support audio encoding :

G711A/U: 8K
G722 :16K
G726 :8K
AAC :8K\16K\32K
