You want to be logging into the camera directly if it's on an NVR and setting the exposure to auto. You then set the upper and lower limits (for instance 1/10,000 and 1/50). You don't want a fixed exposure - the image will be over/under exposed according to the changing light level)-- Exposure setting "fixed - manual".When adjusting exposure, there is a warning to adjust to 1/25 or less.
The caveat is there to avoid "smart event" problems.
Again check that directly in the camera. I've noticed that max bitrate for many of the new 4MP cameras is 8192 Kbps on the data sheet, yet I've got them set higher.-- Video setting - maximum speed 8192 !!!!
Not that I'm aware of. In your original post I used the serial number of your camera to search on Hik Partner Pro app and the version I posted is what came up. The model you have is not available in the UK.there a newer Firmware for the camera models Guanlan ?
The compatibility will be fine, but some functions/settings that are available on the camera will not necessarily map directly to a corresponding setting available on the NVR. That's always been the case and is to be expected. Example - for several years you couldn't set min/max boxes and target validity for smart events via the NVR. It was only possible directly in the camera. Over time, NVR firmware gets updated and some additional functions become accessible in the NVR. But that's NVR dependant; if it's an older NVR firmware updates are few and far between. My opinion is that the camera and NVR compatibility is not good.
That's not how it works! I'm no expert but take the first number as the major version or platform, the second number would be a release incorporating multiple changes and the third number (or 'point' release) is minor revisions. In the case of your camera there aren't necessarily any versions in between .4 and .20 available, but the developer may have worked through multiple minor code revisions that weren't released.JB1970
The version the camera came with was V9.5.4...... and the current version is V9.5.20.....the difference is 20 - 4 = 16.
If you look at the numbers, the difference is big.
Is it possible to find the firmware versions that were between these two versions?
