I have bell wire coming to an old doorbell. In an ideal world, I'd like to use that and not have to try and fish CAT6 (or anything) back through the property!

And we have a solution! I dropped a version from what I was installing on the SD card, and downgraded the firmware. Don't ask me how.... it just reappeared!
Have been trying this, this afternoon to sort the firmware on a DS-KV6113 which has disappeared from network after firmware upgrade. It seems to upgrade from SD card ok, but cannot get it back on the network
I am having a similar issue. Uploaded firmware 2.2.53. Doorstation rebooted and didn't come back online on network. Have tried a few things including a reset, can't get it to show on network. Any ideas?
I have a DS6113 reclaimed from a previous install. Have no PoE to new location, so will use 12V + Wifi. Does anybody know the part no. of the connector used to access the terminals? It looks like a mini jst, but I can't find confirmation anywhere in the documentation.
Possibly a silly question, but I remember reading and now can't find the reference. Is it possible to add an additional channel, IP only over what already exists - i.e a 4 channel NVR can actually take 5 IP camera channels?
