Updated my DS KV6113 WPE 1 Doorstation with the latest firmware from the download portal and now it it stuck in a continual reboot.

It doesn’t seem to be detected by the TFTP application to try and reinstall the original firmware.

has anyone any suggestions or will I need to contact my installer and try and get it swapped out under warranty?

Thanks

Unfortunately, we have no solution for boot-loops, we send them back to Hikvision.

Thanks for the response. I’ve spoken to my
Installer and we will swap it out and hopefully get a refund under warranty for the faulty unit.

Hi

To fix that issue in model B you need to:
- Copy correct firmware to sd card (fat32)
- power off DS-KV6113-WPE1
- insert card
- power on DS-KV6113-WPE1
- press a few time button
- wait until button stops flashing and DS-KV6113-WPE1 reset itself.
- good practice is to factory reset in the end.

I found it myself when i tried fix others problems like:
firmware 2.2.3 no video on the phone/tablet when ringing but card reader working ok.
firmware 2.2.45 video OK but no option to activate card reader.
in both cases no photo on notification when motion is detected.
looks like this is not grate piece of equipment!

Thank you. Never thought of putting firmware on internal SD.
Mine was swapped out by Hikvision, but will keep this information to hand if I ever dare to attempt to upgrade the firmware again! Thanks

Hey, I also bricked my doorbell because I loaded older firmware. Will attempt to load onto an SD card and see what happens. does anyone have a firmware link? I am unable to find any 200804 or younger firmware.

Thanks

I am having a similar issue. Uploaded firmware 2.2.53. Doorstation rebooted and didn't come back online on network. Have tried a few things including a reset, can't get it to show on network. Any ideas?

As noted in another thread, I downgraded the firmware, and the device came back on network. I can't explain it!
