Thank you. I was using Internet Explorer with the Hikvision plugin, but was able to do the later firmware updates using Google Chrome.

Hi, What if the firmware is so old that when you connect to the camera remotely by IP that there is no Firmware Version Property. How can you tell the platform? I have a DS-2CD2122FWD-I but can't work out what platform it is to get the firmware. Thanks, Mike

Hi, Yes, and sadly those files don't work either. I've tried 4.40.015 build 200616 and also then tried 4.50.000 build 210125 and they both give the same error. Do I need to give up and buy a new NVR? Mike
