    Just to update I’ve checked both my system and the recordings are back to normal on the app from midnight today. Going back to previous days is still showing 1 hour recording from 11pm-12-am so it appears to be working today.

    That’s good to know. On my own NVR - DS-7608NI-I2/P8, the auto recording always starts so thats why I was thinking it was an issue with my daughters system but it’s all working now and will leave it alone. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Many thanks for the above details. I have tried remote access config on my own NVR and everything works so I can access the NVR and each camera. As suggested, need to port forward the http, server, rtsp ports AND the local camera ports 65001-65008 (8 port NVR) like JB suggested. Many thanks
