AX Pro + Indoor Camera – Event recording only when alarm is armed ?

Hello,
I currently have an AX Pro system with door/window sensors, a PIR, and a DS-2CD2443G2-IW camera.
Is it possible to make the camera record events only when the AX Pro alarm is armed ?


Since the camera is installed inside my home, if motion detection is enabled, I get constant alerts. But if I disable detection, I lose event-based recordings.


Any way to link the camera’s recording behavior directly to the alarm status?

I’ve linked the camera to a door contact and a PIR sensor.
In the storage settings, I configured it to record on event.
But when I test by triggering the alarm, no video is recorded.
I do get the live video feed, but there’s no event clip recorded at all.

Update: I think I found the problem. I followed this video and disabled DHCP for both the AX Pro and the camera, and it worked.
