Hikvision Ax Pro Fault Issues

My experience is very different to yours. 1.2.9 SP005 has been working fine for me. 1 3.0 was the cause of all my alarm system issues.

It looks like on the Hik EU portal that 1.3.0 firmware has been pulled. If that's the case I think it says it all.

Hey everyone
I've just went down this alley: downgrading to 1.2.9, loosing all my devices from the ax pro interface, reconnecting them (as if it's a new system) etc

My conlusion: I DO NOT recomment 1.2.9. The thing is that Hik is more or less improoving it's functionality with software updates. For example, when I've downgraded from 1.3.0 to 1.2.9, my sytem started to act wierd: when I activate the alarm on the keypad, and stay in the hall after that for a couple of seconds it triggers the alarm (triggered by PIR installed in the hall). So when I needed to set the alarm, I had to quickly leave right after that, otherwise I had to come back and disarm and arm again.

That doesn't happen when I use 1.3.0. I've had to explain this situation to my wife and kids, and it really drove me nuts.
So I've upograded to 1.3.0 and now everything works right. No devices were lost during upgrade.

The only thing that bothers be now is a warning sign on the panel and keypad )
Im the same as Jeli. V1.29 is working like a charm again.

One other part I noticed with v1.30 is that you loose call/sms notifications. This also resolved for me back on v1.29

HikEU portal or HIik Netherlands portal to be exact is not the only source of Hik firmware. You can download current firmware version, recommended by Hikvision according to your uniqeu unit number, through Hik Pro connect app. Same way you can also download latest peripherals firmaware as well.

I didn't exeperience any of the mantioned in your post problems with 1.3.0 like perimeter breach for zone 1 and zone 2 on disarming. Maybe becouse I've planned and installed the system myself, or may be it's because my unit (96 model) just doesn't have these problems.

I upgraded to v1.30 using the pro connect app and have the 96 model too.

I setup and maintained my own system, but honestly the amount of issues I've had doesn't make it worth the upgrade.

1.2.9 is still doing what I need it to do and reliable. Having been burned by 1.3.0 I'm in no rush to try any further variations of it.
