In this short tutorial, I will be going over the quickest method of finding an IP camera on your network using a Mac. The best part is, you don't need to download any software either.

First of all, open up safari, and then open up the preferences tab.

Go to the 'Advanced' tab, and check 'include Bonjour in the bookmarks menu'

Open the bookmarks tab and scroll down to Bonjour. In the web folder you will see a list of network devices.

Click on the camera you wish to open within the browser.

That's all there is to it. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask below.

EDIT (15/12/15): It has been brought to our attention that using Bonjour to access your cameras has become quite intermittent and unreliable, be it via a Hikvision or Apple update. We're investigating potential fixes but if the above doesn't work for you then unfortunately we're not currently aware of a fix.

Worked like a charm for me recently. Wish Firefox did it too, I gave up on Safari for browsing.
