Camera mounting hardware issue

Maybe I'm just missing something simple, maybe the wrong hardware was suggested to me, but this stuff is not coming together correctly.

I have this camera sitting around:

This pendant cap:

This WML junction box

====

These are all 'supposed' to be compatible, but I cannot make these three work together. The camera itself comes with a bracket that it's supposed to lock into, that bracket attaches to the pendant cap (the bracket and pendant cap are the only two things that will come together and align properly), the pendant cap then screws into the WML junction box > here are the problems:

The camera does not fully rotate into place and lock into the bracket.

The pendant cap screws into the WML junction box, but when fully screwed in, it's lopsided at an angle, it's not 'level' horizontally, nor vertically.

Did I get incompatible hardware? Bad hardware? Incorrectly threaded? The camera has two screws, one of them is to be loosened for rotation, nothing works, I removed the screw entirely, still will not lock into place with the bracket fully. It's got a small red line that lines up with a mark near aforementioned screw, I lined it up, still will not properly fully lock in.

The site even says that all three things go together, but I'm sitting here trying to smash the triangle into the square hole. What am I missing?

Make sure the pendant cap is compatible with G2 cameras. Of course, the BH description only says "select Hikvision cameras" but not which ones. The mounting base between the G1 and G2 cameras is not the same. I found that out when I switched all my cameras from G1 to G2's and attempted to use the already-installed G1 bases. It *almost* fits the G2 camera, but it's a no go. The G2 is bigger around by a little bit. If that pendant cap is for G1's that could be all or part of your problem.

Hey man, thank you for the response.

So first thing is I completely missed the stop screw that was included, so as far as the pendant cap screwing in lopsided goes, that resolves that, although I must admit it makes me nervous about water getting in, but I digress.

The only issue now is the back plate that came with the camera, I may have to grease it up to get it to twist and latch on properly. I'm going to take some pictures and post them up later, as a picture is worth a thousand words. From the looks of the backing plate / mounting base, it has three holes that line up with the flat head screws on the bottom of the camera assembly, it should just fit on and twist/lock tight, but it hardly even moves.
