A couple of days ago my cctv system was working perfectly but something happened to stop anything being recorded onto the NVR, which I think, was due to a lead becoming disconnected from the NVR when the unit was moved slightly. That has been resolved and all is now fine again, except that now I'm unable to use the NVR (through the Panasonic TV) to playback anything older than about two days ago. However, I can still view footage from the last month using the apps on my tablet and 'phone, so I know the data from the previous month is still present on the NVR's disk drive.
I haven't knowingly altered any settings so if anyone can suggest why this should be, and better still, tell me how to correct the issue, I'd be very grateful.
From my lack of technical jargon you'll have gathered that I'm not technically savvy where cctv is concerned so any responses would be appreciated in language that a dummy can understand.
The NVR is a Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) with a 1TB HDD, and the two cameras are Hikvision ColorVu fixed turret DS-2CD2347G1-LU 4MP connected via VoIP. Hope all that makes sense!!
Thank you.
