Delete camera greyed out

I moved camera from an external PoE (registered to channel 1) to one of the NVR PoE connections (channel 5).
All fine as it comes online.

However the camera on channel 1 is still present (showing a network error). I want to delete it but removing is not possible. All channels are greyed out.
What do I need to do to clean it up?

Hi @Ray Arts

On the far right of that camera management table, you should see edit icons for each channel (usually looks like a little pen & pad).

Click this icon for channel D1 and it should bring up a little pop-up menu, in this menu switch the channel from "Plug & Play" to "Manual" and click save/modify.

Once saved, open this menu again for D1 and switch the channel back to "Plug & Play", this should then default the channel back to looking like the other unused channels (e.g. POE 1/No Device).

Hi Dan, I only see a column "Operation" with a link tagged "Go" where I can open up the webpage for the device (which throws an error because there is no device present on that IP number. Please also notice the greyed out "Delete" option and apparently for every device.

Could it be the web plugin is not installed correctly?

Thanks @Ray Arts

I just wanted to check because the processes for defaulting/removing channels on an NVR does vary model to model.

On the M-series models, you need to go to the PoE settings (see below screenshot) and disable PoE for the channel to disable it and remove it from the device management menu.

Thanks yes I disabled it and now it is removed. I am still puzzled why HIKVISION offers a "Delete" option in the devices menu... but then there are more UI related settings we all are puzzled about now and then... :)

Thanks for your guidance.
