recently bought a used Hikvision DS-2CD63C5G0-IS fish eye camera.

however upon inspection has deep nicks in the bubble can feel with fingernail.

i have not checked camera for pic quality as was going to send it back as was not told about the nicks on bubble part.


question is:

can a replacement bubble part be purchased for this model in uk if so do you know where and price please or are they not available.
and would you say the deep nicks in the bubble affect picture quality or algorithms of camera.

Distributer can ask for Part SAP Code, and order from Hikvision china.

Sometimes dome glass can be ordered sometimes its entire cover. Depends on a model.

But be ready to wait for a long time, as none of distributers will order a fast lane for this delivery, they will just add it to order list for their quartly shippment. Usually takes up to 2 months by shipping route to europe.

oh i see, just wanted to know if theres any distributers on here know if dome glass can be still ordered or its entire cover if so price.

You would need to try contacting some sellers directly.

We have done lots of digging with Hikvision in the past about what replacement dome options are available for us to stock/sell.

As far as I am aware, replacement domes are not available for fisheye models like this one.

I would try testing the camera to see if the scratches are actually visible on the camera's live image.

Test both day and night as the scratches might not be visible in the daytime, but under IR illumination at night the scratches might be more visible.

If the scratches are impacting the image quality, take screenshots and share them with the seller and discuss the process of returning and replacing the camera.
