DS-7608NI -I2/8P Updated Firmware but couldn't view in Browser

Hi, I updated my FW from V4.40.015 build 200616 to V4.51.025 build210927

Upgrade went ok and NVR/cameras were working fine but I couldn't view remotely by browser (a must!)

I tried for hours to get it to work but couldn't so downgraded again. Now can only view in Edge but not Chrome. I have noticed the Local setting is missing in Chrome but is there in Edge.




Can anyone shed some light on this?

Well what did you try during those hours?
Clear browser cache.
Download plugin again, may be incompatible.
etc.

i did notice that the 51.007 version had
Web Version 5.0.0, while the newer .51.025 version shows web versionV4.5.0 build 210923..
your downgrade to 4.40 shows older web version. So the plugin might we'll be contributing.

But maybe you tried..
Don't know about the local menu other then clearing browser cache.
