Door Entry Adding DS-KD8003 to my NVR?

Hi,

Trying to configure DS-KD8003. The unit is connected to my NVR for PoE, port 8.
How do I add the unit to IVMS or how do I configure the unit?

Trying to add the IP but getting error messages.

What I am missing?
Possible to turn off any ports on the NVR and use it only for POE and as a switch?
Can’t find the DS-KD8003 with SADP since it’s behind the NVR.

To make my life easier I bought a PoE switch. Now trying to add DS-KD8003 to ivms. I can find the device, but when trying to change IP it asks for admin password. What is default admin password for KS-DS8003?

Hi @Ekkoh

We don't usually recommend directly connecting intercoms like the KD8003 to the PoE ports on the NVR, so moving it to a separate PoE switch is the correct thing to do.

Where you've already had the intercom connected to the NVR PoE ports it will have been activated with the NVRs "Camera Activation Password" which in most cases, is the same password you use to log in to the NVR.
