Hello Everyone,

We recently purchased the Hikvision AcuSense DS-7600 series embedded NVR that came with 8 Panoeagle M/N - PG2T87C bullet cameras as a package. Please see photos of model, serial & other information. The installation and setup went pretty smooth. The pictures on the screen was crystal clear even at nighttime. When we first programmed the system we had everything setup for motion detection, but it seems like no matter what settings we made, it was sending out to much false alarms. We tried the Intrusion feature, and fell in love. it works very well. Whenever we got an alarm notification, it was a true event. No false alarms. We were successful in setting up 2 of the 8 cameras to work with the intrusion detection settings. All of the other 6 cameras, we kept getting an error message whenever we click APPLY no matter what settings we try. ERROR NOT ENOUGH RESOURCE FOR HUMAN BODY/VEHICLE PICTURE ANALYSIS. please see photo. We search online but haven't found anything on this exact error issue. We are at a stand still right now. If anyone has experienced this exact error issue message, and has found a solution or have any suggestions we truly would appreciate your help. Thanks very much.

Hi @broxsb

As you are using the Acusense technology that's in the NVR (rather than in Acusense cameras), there is actually a limit on the cameras you can apply Human/Vehicle detection on Intrusion Detection to, as shown here (1x camera set to 4MP, or 2x cameras set to 2MP, like yours are), which is why you get that error after 2 cameras.

In your screenshot showing the Intrusion Detection settings, you have VCA Mode>By NVR selected from the dropdown...
If you change this to "By Camera" (assuming it lets you), does it still give you the option to set 'human' or 'vehicle' as the target type?
If it does, then use this, and you should be able to use intrusion detection on all of the camera (with human and vehicle classification).

If not, it means that the only way to get Intrusion Detection with Human/Vehicle classification on the rest of the cameras, will be to swap them for Hikvision cameras with Acusense built in already, as they will not need to use the AI in the NVR.

Or, you could keep your cameras, and not use the human and vehicle classification on the rest of them, which should let you use Intrusion Detection on them all.

Or, if you look here, you will see that Motion Detection 2.0 will let you do human and vehicle classification on more channels at 4MP, which is another option.
If you enable Enhanced SVC (decoding) mode, you should even be able to have all cameras set to 8MP and still use Motion Detection 2.0 with Acusense - this video shows you where to enable that:

As @Kyle has detailed above it's important to use AcuSense in the camera not the NVR when available. One important thing though.... while it is still set to 'By NVR' clear the intrusion zones, turn off the 'Enable' switch and Save/Apply BEFORE swapping to 'By Camera'. Otherwise the NVR resources will still be seen as in use and unavailable to use with non AcuSense cameras (and you can't see that without first switching back to 'By NVR')
