Firmware upgrade

I am only getting one rule each for Intrusion Detection and Line Crossing Detection on a Hikvision DS-2CD2663G0-IZS and can't figure out why so I thought of doing a firmware upgrade. It is currently on V5.5.83 build 190221.

After searching around, I came across Firmware__V5.7.19_241207_S3000618481.zip which gave me a digicap.dav file. But it failed to install.

I have done upgrades before so I'm familiar with the process so I'm a bit at a loss.

Possibly the wrong version but could be just a browser issue also. Look at your cameras system information page where you'll see an entry 'Firmware Version Property' and post what is there as that will confirm the file needed. Looking at your current version I think it might be a G1 platform model and if so the latest version for that platform is 5.6.820_220519.

As I thought. So the latest (and last) version for that camera is 5.6.821_230831. You can get it from the UK portal here:

OK, did the firmware upgrade and the Firmware Version Property is now C-R-G1-0.
I then found another switch in Meta Data Settings to turn on "Smart Event".

Now it is giving ability to set many rules.
