NVR 16 Channel DS-7616NXI-K2 Firmware upgrade issue

Morning All,

Ok so I have ran into an issue on doing a firmware upgrade for this device. I am sure I am doing something stupid, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here.

Can someone check these pictures I am posting and point me in the right direction.

The current firmware on the device (default, i.e. out of the box) V4.83.010 build 241118

I am using the following

DS-7616NXI-K2

Hikvision 16-ch 1U K Series AcuSense 4K NVR DS-7616NXI-K2

www.hikvision.com

Firmware_V4.83.013_241227

When I try upgrade it goes to 12% than crashes.... any comments would be appreciated. Thanks a million.

I had an NXI do that last year. It wouldn't update using browser or USB and I had to do it with iVMS.

One thing to check. Make sure that the NVR hasn't already downloaded (but not installed) an update. If there's an update downloaded it may be getting in the way of you updating manually. On the local interface you would be able to see that and there's an option to delete the upgrade package if it's downloaded. I tend to turn off the option to automatically download update files (it is enabled by default)

If you are using Mac ios or any Apple product
Try to use windows ios to upgrade or
Copy the firmware to USB and put it in the nvr and upgrade
