G3 ColorVu firmare?

As and when Hikvision determine. I did a post on the G3s when I got my first couple and they're still on the same firmware they were delivered with (5.8.10_250123). As there are issues with the camera (scrambled audio when environmental noise filter is on) I expected updates to come through relatively quickly however that's not the case. It's over 5 months now and I don't recall a new model previously going so long without an update.
One thing to note is that the G3 models have different firmware for the 4 and 8 megapixel models:
DS-2CD2x47G3 - H13U platform - 5.8.10_250123
DS-2CD2x87G3 - H13 platform - 5.8.10_250605
That became obvious when I tried to update my 4 megapixel models a couple of weeks ago with the new build of 5.8.10 and it would not load. So if you've an 8MP model be sure to load the newer version (available in both the firmware search and the resources section of the model page)

Thanks JB , I’ll keep an eye on here for when it’s released , still having the VCA issue on mine and also a friend has installed 2xG3 4MP same as me and his does the same also lol.
On a side note do you know how to change the delay time on the audible alarm? When people are crossing the line by the time the alarm triggers they are past the camera and at the front door lol

Remind me what the VCA issue is again, I can’t remember….
Is that a delay in an audible alarm on the camera speaker or the push alert to your phone? I have no delays on the push notifications but don’t use the camera’s speaker.

The blue lines from the line crossings I have set up don’t appear on HikConnect or the green/red box around people, I have 3x G2H and they are all fine but this G3 doesn’t show up, it still triggers a notification etc but I like to see the lines and what is triggering the event.
And it’s the alarm from the speaker, it works as in if someone triggers it but by the time they have gotten past where the camera is it then goes off , I have it set to our driveway but not the very edge as when people walk past with dogs etc it keeps going off , so I set it back a bit but now it’s like there is a few seconds delay with the event being triggered and the alarm going off.

It works on mine so long as I have 'Display VCA Rule' enabled in 'Me' > 'Settings'. The camera below is one of my two DS-2CD2347G3-LIS2U/SL's. It's set for line crossing - Human and Vehicle. As you can see the line is shown and a passing car is highlighted so it's not a bug:
Do you have Dual VCA turned on for the camera? If not try with that turned on.
Your neighbours must love you! I'd expect the alarm to be immediate. So are you receiving the push notification and then the audio alarm delayed or is everything delayed?

Yeah I have it set for dual VCA mate so I don’t have a clue what else to try , I’ve reset nvr and camera , reinstalled HikConnect etc lol.
And yeah it can be annoying I’m gonna adjust the line tonight as people walk past trigger it lol , thankfully I don’t have it set to 100 volume .

On the second camera there's a full screen outline in blue. Do you have intrusion enabled on that camera?
Ignore that I just added an intrusion area to mine while live viewing in Hik Connect and it appeared as soon as I hit save.

No mate I only have SMD>Line crossing enabled (I’ll double check them all tonight) it’s been like that ever since I installed it , but before I reset the nvr/camera etc if I switched the view from HD to basic it would then show up the blue lines lol

Strange mine is showing on both Basic and HD. I'll have a mess around to see if I can screw it up and lose it.

I know I’m baffled lol , my mate had his 2 cameras set for line crossing enabled, he had an issue with his internet and when he reconnected the back went off but the front stayed with the lines so god knows lol , got the cameras from YESS in Stockton but they have dynamic cctv on the box

I didn't know YESSS sold them I'm surprised as I thought they'd need to be approved, I have an account but don't use them anymore.

I don't have my own company or anything ,but I tried dynamic and no one would sell to me or even give me prices unless I had an account etc, but YESS give me a price straight away , not bad prices either , I paid 151 for the G3 (vat included).
