gmx, Gmail and others will no longer send email that uses TLS 1.0 /1.1?

Hi All
gmx and several others have stopped emails using TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 this means most cctv equipment will no longer send email
does anyone know if there is a solution to send emails from DVR's etc

When I spoke to Hikvision recently about email notifications, they advised that Outlook email accounts were the best ones to use

These are the SMTP settings specific to Outlook:

SMTP server name: smtp.office365.com
SMTP port number: 587
Encryption: TLS
STARTTLS: Enable

No problem, there is actually a way to use Gmail now too if it is preferable - it's just a case of setting up an App password for your DVR/cameras rather than using your usual Gmail password:
