Hik-Connect Hik-Connect Notifications via DDNS only connection

Hi,

I have set-up a connection in Hik-Connect which is purely DDNS. I am not using the Hik-connect cloud domain.
Is there any way of receiving notifications on this connection?

I want to share the connection with family members but don't want them to fiddle with the settings.

No - you have to use the Hik Connect service for notifications (which I'd rather not)

iVMS-4500 will give you push notifications using your own DDNS but it's a little basic - the notifications go to the notification area of your phone and not straight into the app. Try it out - nothing to stop you using both apps
