Helo there, neighbors and friends.

I have jus acquired a Hikvision DS-KV6113 doorbell to change my not that old Philips WelcomeEye 2, as I wanted to configure it inside my Synology Surveillance Station.

My setup requires me to connect the doorbell through wifi, not POE.

I have a spare power source for the door, a 24V one which matches my door requirements and worked fine until now.

I have successfully activated the doorbell, I have integrated the camera in surveillance stations and in Hikvision app.

I have wired so the green cable (Neutral) goes to the positive pole of the electrical source, one of the door wires goes to the negative and then, if I connect the other door wire to the blue NO wire, the door is always open, but if I connect to the yellow NC wire, the door is always closed and there is no way to open it (Not with the app nor with the inner screen). If I reverse the rele in the device configuration, the door is always open when connected to the yellow NC wire, and no way to open it when connected to the blue NO wire. Don't know if my unit is faulty or if there is something that I am doing wrong.

Both of the supplies (The 12V for the doorbell and the second one for the door) are independent, but the same thing occurs if I use only one of them.

Any thoughts about it??

Thanks in advance!

Any clue about this?

Thank you!!!

The video confirms that the wiring that I did was right.

Finally it was a firmware problem. I updated both, the door-bell and the inside unit and now the same wiring, works!!!

Thank you for your help!!
