Can anyone help with the hikvision vision smart search button being greyed out?

My NVR model is DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P and running Ver. V4.30.071.

Searching from the playback interface only works when a single channel is showing full-window (not full screen).

When you bring up any single channel into full window view the function will become available.

Be prepared to be disappointed though. The smart search functionality in the web playback interface is very very limited.

Try using IVMS4200 from a PC which is much better and actually works.
