Recently a new open-source software vulnerability was discovered - Apache Log4j2 Issue (CVE-2021-44228) - and this was labelled as 'Critical' by the security experts that discovered it. Hikvision straight away began investigating whether this impacted any of their products, they released the attached statement last week to confirm that so far no Hikvision product is at risk but they continue to investigate their 1000's of products and will update if there are any issues.
